PETROLEUM SYSTEMS OF THE ARABIAN PLATE: THEIR SEQUENCE STRATIGRAPHY, PALEOGEOGRAPHY, HYDROCABRON HABITAT AND OIL AND GAS FIELDS
Comprehensive hydrocarbon potential evaluation of the Phanerozoic sequence of the Arabian Plate. To understand the factors which control the hydrocarbon generation, migration and accumulation within the Phanerozoic section and identify prospects and plays in different basins, through a synthesis of all available sequence stratigraphy, geologic history, structural evolution and reservoir data and integrated with hydrocarbon habitats of the basins.
The study also describe about 100 oil and gas fields in the Middle East . Each field is illustrated by a series of maps and diagrams and a data sheet. The maps and diagrams include location maps, structural field maps and stratigraphic sections illustrating the reservoir horizons. The data sheet contain information which includes the discovery, location and status of the field, field size, producer zones, structural setting, trap type, reservoir/seal/source rock characteristics, oil characteristics, field characteristics, production data and reserves.
